Most winter experiences can be arranged. Guided weeks, booked programs, curated retreats: each one polished, each one available, each one repeatable.
Legacy Ski Lines is none of those.
It is one private week in the mountains that I offer, by invitation, to a handful of individuals and families each winter. It is built around you, not around a program. No two weeks will be the same.
You will not find this on a platform or buy it from a service. It happens through a personal introduction, and only for people who would rather have an Olympian beside them than an audience around them.
The Week
I will be beside you on every run. I have stood in Olympic start gates, raced the hardest descents on the World Cup circuit, and spent a career learning what a mountain asks of a skier.
Some mornings start before the lifts open. I know which slopes hold the night's cold, where the light lands first, and which descents exist only in the memory of the few who skied them without witnesses.
Other mornings start slowly. Coffee, conversation, and the ease of a day where nothing is expected of you. No timetable, no performance targets. The week belongs to its guests.
The Evenings
On the mountain I ski beside you, never ahead and never instructing. Insight comes naturally: a word between runs, a line chosen with the precision of someone who raced at this level.
Evenings are another thing entirely. Private dinners, no agenda beyond conversation. What it feels like in the start gate of an Olympic race with the world watching. The silence before a World Cup start. The decisions, made in fractions of a second, that decide a career.
Guests will tell you the skiing was extraordinary. What they carry home are the evenings.

Heli-skiing and backcountry days can be arranged for guests who want to go further. I join as a companion, not a guide, in terrain few ever reach.

The week adapts to include younger skiers, and nobody's week is compromised.

The Host
3-Time Olympian · World Cup Winner, Park City · Former IOC “Believe in Sport” Ambassador
I raced for Slovenia at three consecutive Olympic Games: Albertville, Lillehammer and Nagano. I won a World Cup race in Park City, finished fifth at the World Championships in Sierra Nevada, and spent five seasons among the world's top fifteen alpine skiers. I was a member of the Slovenian National Team throughout.
Since racing, I have worked as an international sports strategist and advisor to governments, national Olympic committees and federations across four continents. I wrote The Sportskid Whisperer, now published in five languages. I am a former IOC “Believe in Sport” Ambassador, and I sit on the boards of the Slovenian Olympic Committee and the Slovenian Olympic Academy.
Legacy Ski Lines grew out of what that career taught me: the result matters less than what it took to reach it. I want to share that where I learned it, on a mountain, in person, with no agenda.

Every Legacy Ski Lines week is hosted with absolute discretion and total confidentiality. Only guests and their host. What is shared in the mountains stays there.
